On 27 September 2010, Basisbank and USAID signed a 6-year agreement to provide 50% insurance for the Bank’s SME loans. This guarantee from USAID is intended to widen opportunities for SMEs (including the agro sector) and stimulate financing. The credit line allocated under the project amounts to 6 000 000 US dollars.
