According to NBG’s president decree all commercial banks existing in Georgia should adopt International Bank account format –IBAN. Therefore, beginning from 03.05.2010 all the new accounts will be opened and all the existing accounts will be transformed into IBAN format.
Settlements in the old format will also be available till 01.01.2013.
